What is baggage?

Of course, these aren’t actual bags made of leather or plastic; they are the intangible, invisible, mental baggage that we carry internally. The nagging knapsack of negativity. The draining duffle bag of depression, doubt and defeatism. The agonizing attaché case of anxiety. The heavy handbag of hopelessness. The grievous garment bag of guilt. The loathsome luggage of low self-esteem. The frightening flip-bag of fear. The bulging backpack of bitterness. The ugly utility bag of unforgiveness. Psychological baggage. Emotional baggage. Baggage that causes us to be full of stress and anxiety.
